PEDALCURE4MND TAS24 is a 6 day cycling and fundraising event, riding in support of funding research & assisting families battling with MND.
PC4MND has raised more than $850k from 3 previous rides.
In 2024, we are aiming to hit the $1M fundraising milestone while riding through the beautiful Tasmanian landscape.

Ride with Richie & Simon:
Richie Porte, one of Australia's greatest cyclists, will join us on the ride through his beautiful home state Tasmania! Richie has personally experienced losing a friend to MND & is thrilled to be part of the ride.
Fellow cycling great Simon Gerrans will join the ride for selected legs & we are very excited to have 2 of the best road cyclist produced by Australia.

FUNCTIONS:
Participants cycle and attend local fundraising functions with celebrity guests!
In 2024, Aussie cycling legends, RICHIE PORTE & SIMON GERRANS, will be among our celebrity guests. T
hey will be joined by Channel 7 personality JASON RICHARDSON, Fight MND founder PAT CUNNINGHAM, Fight MND Board Chairman MIKE SCHNEIDER & AFL Legend, Big V & Dual AFL Premiership Captain TERRY DANIHER representing Neale & the Daniher family.
Additional celebrity guests to be announced as we progress to the ride date of 28th Feb 2024.
RIDE STRUCTURE
Individuals must raise a minimum of $1000. Relay teams $2000
INDIVIDUAL 6 days - $600:
Includes Jersey, Polo, support crew, daily meals, function entry & campsite facilities.
INDIVIDUAL 3 days - $400:
Includes support crew, daily meals, function entry & campsite facilities.
INDIVIDUAL 1 day - $200:
Includes support crew, meals on day & campsite facilities.
RELAY TEAMS - 6 days - 2-3/team. $800:
Includes support crew, daily meals, function entry & campsite facilities.
Jersey's & polo shirts are available to purchase via the rego site.
Getting to Devonport
- Fly direct to Devonport with REX Airlines https://ibe2.rex.com.au
- Catch the Spirit of Tasmania if you are taking a vehicle .
Tickets for registered riders are available with Rex. Rex will transport riders bikes as part of the ticket arrangements.

Plan to be at Devonport on Tuesday 27th Feb or 7am on the 28th Feb 2024 -Day 1 of the ride. For riders travelling from mainland, freight on The Spirit may be arranged for your clothes, sleeping & bike equipment. Details TBC.
Rider levels
Like every bunch we will be made up of riders of many different levels.
There will be an Elite group + 28kph
Advanced group 28-25kph
Intermediate group 23-20kph
Relaxed group who go as slow or fast as they want.
We cater for diverse abilities. You will need to be able to do 70 – 120km riding in a day. Relay team riders will need to do between 25-60km/day. This is broken up by regular rest periods.

Cancellation policy
In the event that PedalCure4MND TAS24 is cancelled, the ride will be re-scheduled to an alternative date.
All funds will be retained by FightMND Foundation & spots made available for all registrants in the rescheduled event.
